We publish one comparison per provider, with their figures copied from their own site and ours in full. This page is the index: go straight to the one you are deciding between, or read the criteria first if you are not yet sure what separates them.

What actually separates one provider from another

Almost everyone publishes a price and a plan name. These six things change what you actually get, and a good half of the market does not put them on the page at all.

• The bitrate and resolution ceiling. A plan that does not name a maximum has one anyway. Ask for the number before you pay.
• Where the ingest servers are. The hop between your phone and the first server is most of your latency. One region means one good region.
• Whether bonding is supported. SRTLA is what lets BELABOX or Moblin combine several SIM cards. Plain SRT does not, and the two names are easy to mix up.
• What happens when the signal drops. Automatic scene switching cuts to an offline scene instead of ending the broadcast. Check whether it is included or sold separately.
• Whether you get a real OBS. A cloud OBS you can open, configure and add sources to is a different product from a fixed pipeline with a settings form.
• What leaves with you. Scenes, overlays and the files you uploaded: find out whether you keep them if you cancel.
